The Ocean is Closer
Than You Think

Abigail designed a comprehensive suite of social media assets and environmental signage for 11th Hour Racing’s multi-channel campaign, “The Ocean is Closer Than You Think.” While maintaining a rigorous visual identity across all platforms, she developed graphics for the campaign designed to illustrate the surreal infiltration of marine life into urban environments. The creative work serves a dual purpose: advocating for the ecological benefits of composting while starkly visualizing the consequences of neglect.

A kitchen with a man cooking and a small child in the background. A whale appears to be jumping out of a trash can, with water splashing around it. There is a blue banner with white text about ocean conservation.
A large fish jumps out of a kitchen sink as three children and a woman prepare food, with a large whale on the kitchen counter.
A woman with short curly hair wearing an orange shirt and black pants is chopping vegetables on a cutting board in a kitchen. The kitchen has white cabinets, a black countertop, and a sink. There is an octopus on top of a trash can near the counter, with a pineapple and other items on the counter.
