Design for Sustainability: UI/UX Hackathon partnered with Adobe XD to challenge San Jose State University students to develop an app or game focusing on risk prevention and natural disasters.

Bear Prepare, the natural disaster family-friendly game created by myself and Jelica Abad, placed third overall in the Turtle Hurtle creative contest.

Turtle Hurtle: A Design Sprint asked students to develop a creative climate game or app to engage and inform users about the risks of natural disasters, as well as preventative and responsive actions that can be taken in the case of an emergency.

Users needed to be taught about climate change and natural disaster risk reduction through engaging, interactive, and science-based gaming experiences.
